Subclips anyone?

In Premiere how can you create a sub clip out of a main clip or sequence? Why or how might this be useful?

You can create a subclip by right clicking on the main clip in the source panel and there will be a “Make Subclip” option. Subclips are useful so that you will save time in finding a particular scene inside the long main clip.

Right-click on a video in the source panel and click Make Subclip. You can make many short subclips of a video to create a composition of clips. Like a Movie Trailer or Music Video.

To make a subclip, set an In and Out point on the master clip in the Source Monitor, and then use the Make Subclip command. They are useful when you want to set aside certain peices of one long clip so they are easier to retrieve when you need them.
