It’s pretty easy. Just go to Title > New title. You can design a title and drag it onto the timeline and control where it is, where it goes, and how long it stays there.
In the project window you can also click the new item icon and choose ‘Title’ from the drop down menu and the title properties will appear in a new window.
To put the title into the movie you go to the window bar on top. Go to Title then new Title. From there all you have to do is edit your title to your desire.

A dialogue box will open where you can type in the title and then a window will open where you can format the title the way you want it. When you’re done, just close this window and drag the title from the project panel to the timeline.

that is where you make a custom tile, after you are finished, the title goes to the project panel. then, you can drag it to the clip on the timeline that you want to add a tile to.

Title>New Title (Or in the Projects panel, new Item>Item.) Drag the title in from the Projects panel.
To add a title you can go to the project window and at the bottom click on the new item and scroll down to ‘title’
